Who Dat?! Who dat say deh gonna beat dem Saints? Who dat? Who dat?
Okay, CDP Family! Sunday is game day, and we just know our New Orleans Saints are going to come out on top. To get your little ones in the mood, here's an easy craft and the perfect bedtime story to cap off a Saints win.
All you'll need is:
Construction paper. The example is in green, but why not go for gold?
A black marker to draw a goal post and whatever you want to add. The example says, "Touchdown," but why not "Who Dat 2021"?
Brown and white finger paint
Your little one's foot
This couldn't be easier. Draw your goal post. Dip your child's foot in the brown paint and stamp a footprint on white paper and wait to dry or just stamp it on the center of the page and wait to dry. Cut out the football and paste it to the center of page. With the white paint, add the details of the football. Wait to dry. Add "Who Dat" to the front, the date, and your child's name. Hang up and start cheering for the Saints.
It's a timeless classic by Cornell P. Landry and Louis J Shmitt for a reason. We never tire of Good Night Nola.
Cuddle up with your little one and bid sweet dreams to all of your favorite NOLA destinations, sweets, and treats -- especially the Super Dome and our boys in black and gold.
